Change is rarely easy, but the ability to adapt to change is more important than ever, writes our CFO Jenn Ryu in Global Banking & Finance Review. Ryu shares insights from RGP’s “Human Agility in the Now of Work” research and highlighted five characteristics in organizations that successfully navigate periods of disruption:

  • Adopt a model for human agility
  • Build the organizational change muscle
  • Proactively manage macro events
  • Adopt a dynamic, responsive financial management mindset
  • Capitalize on change

“The organizations that successfully navigate disruption are the ones that capitalize on opportunities rather than view them as threats,” writes Ryu. “To keep up with this accelerated pace of change – and not just survive but thrive – organizations need to infuse human agility into the corporate and cultural DNA.”
