Tracey Figurelli

As Executive Vice President of Digital Innovation, I am responsible for interpreting market and client demand, setting strategy and designing RGP’s digital landscape. In order to remain competitive in the marketplace of tomorrow, we simply have to be digitally nimble. I will enable our existing offerings with digital capabilities as appropriate, drive growth through our digital engagement platform, enhance internal efficiencies and strive to improve user experience for our customers and employees.

I joined RGP in 2001 as an Information Management consultant, providing expertise in system implementations and business intelligence. During my four years as a consultant, I worked with major clients, leading system implementations and implementing global performance management platforms. In addition to my work as a consultant, I have been a Client Service Director, Practice Leader, Managing Director of the New Jersey practice and Global Managing Director of the Information Management practice.

Background

Tell us a little bit about your career journey before joining RGP.
I started my career writing technical manuals for Night Vision goggles for the Army! I then went on to work at Prudential as a financial analyst. As a financial analyst, I noticed that I kept getting drawn to fixing all the systems in the finance department, so I realized I needed to venture into technology. I led many system implementations and business process transformation projects at Prudential prior to joining RGP as a consultant.

Education
I have an MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Seton Hall University.

Goals and Inspirations

What inspires you?
I am inspired by creative minds and people who think differently and challenge the status quo.

What is a goal you have your eyes set on?
I want to enable our humans to be supercharged with digital capabilities.

What does success in your role look like?
We are successful when our clients say we are evolving to their needs and staying relevant in the fast-paced digital world.

A Day in the Life

What was your best day at work at RGP?
The Global Management Meetings are always my favorite. I love having the opportunity to meet our colleagues from all over the world!

What accomplishment makes you most proud since joining RGP?
I had the opportunity to bring the original Managing Consultant role to life, convinced some of our best leaders to join the company and have built life-lasting friendships/relationships with colleagues.

Share your favorite client success story.
We partnered with an online shopping and lifestyle website when it was growing faster than they could hire and build back office functions. We stood up an accounting and finance department for them and fixed their supply chain issues. Ultimately, we helped keep their inventory flowing so they actually had a product to sell!

Human-First

At RGP we bring a human-first approach. What does that mean to you?
In order to be human, you must be real and relate to people in a sincere way. It is also important to always be present when interacting with others.

How do the RGP values of Loyalty, Integrity, Focus, Enthusiasm, Accountability and Talent (LIFE AT) shape how you approach your role?
I think those characteristics are so ingrained in me that I don’t even think it’s a conscious effort to approach my role in a specific way.

YOU beyond RGP

How do you spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my husband, two boys and dog Henry. I enjoy hiking, biking, running and checking out the music scene in Nashville.

Do you have any skills or secret talents that most people don’t know about?
If I share them, they won’t be a secret anymore 😊

What charities or social causes are you passionate about?
I serve on the board of VenturesATL, a not-for-profit startup, which provides employment services to adults with autism. I also serve on the Seton Hall Board for Woman’s Leadership Program, as well as the Leadership Development Council.

Is there anything else about you that you would like people to know?
I take my work very seriously, but I never take myself too seriously!
