About This Role
The accounting reconciliations specialist is responsible for performing timely and accurate account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of the financial data. This role works closely with accounting, accounts receivable, tax and other operational teams to maintain accurate financial records and support compliance with company policies and accounting standards. reat culture!

- Location: Coppell Area
- Hours: 8 am start time, no OT unless unique circumstance
- Length of Project: Through 3/31/27 with opportunity to extend

What You Will Work On
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare complex cash clearing account reconciliations ensuring that balances are clearly understood, and any discrepancies resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain reconciliation documentation and supporting schedules for audit purposes
• Monitor aged reconciling items and coordinate resolution with appropriate departments
• Conduct monthly meetings with cash application team to resolve open items
• Collaborate with other cross functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve data accuracy
• Review accounting processes and procedures to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Prepare reports and communicate reconciliation status to management
• Update desktop guides for performing duties
• Assist with external and internal audit requests by providing supporting documentation and explanations
• Assist with maintaining proper governance and controls over business activities
What You Will Bring
Must Have:
•Minimum of 3-5 years or more of accounting experience and U.S. GAAP knowledge. Will consider a general accountant
•Advanced skills using MS Office products, primarily with Excel and more complex formulas (e.g. SumIf, Vlookup, Pivot Tables) (macros would be nice to have, but not required)
•Strong working knowledge with SAP/Simple Finance, or similar ERP platform
•Ability to prepare accounting desk guides that can be used for cross-training purposes
•Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited University
•A Personality that likes to be busy!
