What is the single most important quality for businesses to have in order to compete in the future? Why?

Resilience! If nothing else, the global crisis sparked by COVID-19 has taught us how important resilience is. The ability of a business to recover quickly from disruption has been a key differentiator in the last year. At its best, resilience enables a company to turn business disruption into a competitive advantage.

What does human agility mean to you?

For me, human agility means harnessing a lifetime of experience in problem-solving or responding to change. Human agility requires us to be collaborative, creative, purposeful and focused.

What excites you the most when you think about the future of work? Why?

Our ability to work from anywhere and provide support around the globe without ever getting in a car or on a plane is still amazing to me. Geography is no longer a barrier to who we can work with. When we do travel, gather and meet in person, those interactions are so much more impactful.
