We brought our human-first approach to helping a public, social networking company successfully close its largest acquisition to date – $1.5 billion – and support the integration of more than 500 employees across nine countries who were impacted by the transaction.

To manage an acquisition of this scale, they needed an improved integration structure and process to manage the planning, execution and identification of key dependencies.

What We Did

  • Developed detailed and scalable integration process flows and plans for procure-to-pay, payroll, stock administration and infrastructure.
  • Identified key cross-functional dependencies and implemented actions to accelerate the integration process.
  • Designed and implemented a record-to-report playbook for the corporate Controller’s group, which increased team efficiencies.


  • Implemented scalable integration plans and processes by understanding how our Client’s deals ebb and flow, which support their management of future deals, regardless of size or geography.
  • Reduced employee onboarding and payroll integration time within 60 days, by identifying key dependencies and improving our Client’s integration process flow.
  • Provided our human insights on M&A industry benchmarks and best practices to better prepare our Client for future acquisitions.
