About This Role

RGP is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant to support our clients in the configuration, enhancement, and effective use of their Workday environments. In this client‑facing consulting role, you will partner directly with HR, Compensation, and Payroll teams to deliver high‑quality solutions within the Workday HCM suite, with a particular focus on Advanced Compensation and/or US Payroll. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through system best practices, troubleshooting, optimizations, and process improvements.

What you will work on

  • Configure, enhance, and support Workday HCM functionality for client organizations, with emphasis on Advanced Compensation and/or US Payroll.
  • Lead or support key client processes such as merit cycles, bonus programs, and payroll cycles.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in testing activities, including planning, execution, documentation, and client coordination.
  • Guide clients through Workday release reviews, advising on new features and recommended adoption.
  • Develop client-facing documentation, job aids, and process guides.
  • Support data integrity through audits, validations, and ongoing maintenance across HCM and compensation/payroll functions.

What you will bring

  • Experience in Advanced Compensation and/or US Payroll, including configuration and testing.
  • Hands‑on configuration and support experience with Workday HCM.Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical, system-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes and cross‑functional impacts.

  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
    • Pay Range: $90-$120/hr.
