About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst who will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and maintaining data to support business applications, reporting environments, and key decision-making. This position ensures that data remains accurate, complete, consistent, and accessible across systems while collaborating with internal clients, audit teams, and development groups to resolve information flow and content issues.

Work Location: 5 Day onsite in greater Atlanta, GA area or greater Charlotte, NC area

Duration: 9+ months, (with a potential to extend or convert to FTE).

Pay Rate Range: $75/hr-$95/hr

What you will work on

  • Gather, review, analyze, validate, and map system data into the data warehouse to meet reporting and analytical needs.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data-related issues reported by production support teams.
  • Develop solutions for improving data integrity and collaborate with developers for problem resolution.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in large, complex datasets to support business insights.
  • Analyze line of business requirements and provide actionable input for senior management reports.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers to test and validate data attributes.
  • Ensure consistent data integration across multiple systems while documenting data-related deliverables.
  • Partner with business analysts, audit teams, and project teams to address system nuances and resolve data issues.
  • Serve as liaison between Audit teams and Business units, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years in data analysis, statistical analysis, data transformation, or related functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong SQL query development and management expertise, REQUIRED.
  • Proficient in SAS programming for data analysis and workflow enhancements.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts and experience working with VLDB environments.
  • Familiar with query analysis tools; hands-on experience using such tools for performance tuning.
  • Experience using Python and Alteryx for data analytics and automation tasks.
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services, preferred.
  • Knowledge of audit processes, preferred.
