The Challenge

After a bank merger, the client faced increased operational risks and lacked visibility into projects aimed at mitigating these risks, with tasks tracked across different platforms like JIRA, Confluence, and Excel. The client sought RGP expertise to establish a centralized tracking and monitoring system for high-priority risks and their remediation efforts. RGP conducted a current state analysis, identified siloed datasets, and implemented dashboards, reporting tools, and governance structures to track risk mitigation progress. RGP was also tasked with tracking remediation actions across the organization, improving risk visibility and reducing overall firm risk.

02.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of strategic consultants and technology program managers to build a dashboard, write business requirements, and create data visualization solutions for critical risk issue remediation, audit commitments, and platform migration programs. The team assessed the current state to identify existing data points in the risk register and worked on building a future state with centralized views for managing risk-related work items. RGP collaborated with Wealth Management (WM) technology and risk officers, gathering end-user feedback and managing enhancements, while planning a roll-out strategy to improve visibility and enable efficient remediation execution.

03.

Our Impact

Streamlined reporting enhanced visibility into risks, enabling better planning, early issue identification, and effective risk remediation across the WM technology division.
