The Challenge

In support of merger integration, the Client sought strategic advisory and execution support for integrating Human Resources (HR) systems to ensure smooth transitions of HR infrastructure, processes, procedures, and workflows. RGP led the definition of the target state architecture, as well as business analysis, project management, and testing for the transition from the current to the target state. Additionally, RGP provided strategic support to the impacted business areas to ensure alignment and effective integration throughout the process.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of technology integration experts and business analysts to document the target state application architecture and develop an integration plan. After defining the architecture, the team gathered requirements and assisted the HR Information Systems team with data mapping and translations. They also presented integration impacts to downstream consumers of HR data and supported interim business processes during the systems integration. Once the integration was built, RGP led the testing efforts, defining the testing strategy, conducting end-to-end testing, tracking results, and facilitating testing with downstream consumers such as benefits and compensation teams.
