The Challenge

The Client’s senior leadership sought a framework to provide an industry benchmark for the maturity of the bank’s Data Management Program.

RGP conducted a Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) across the Bank to document and evaluate the maturity of data capabilities against industry best practice.

The assessment evaluated a range of data components that define what is necessary to develop, implement, and sustain a Data Management Program. It also provided a baseline for assessing the client’s data management maturity level relative to industry competitors.

02.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of data management experts to develop and administer a Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) for the bank. The model evaluated the bank against industry best practices and conducted a gap analysis across key Data Management (DM) capabilities.

The assessment addressed core components such as DM Strategy, Business & Data Architecture, Data Quality Management, Data Governance, and more. Following the assessment, RGP identified critical gaps in the DM program and created targeted work packages aligned with a Data Management Roadmap to help prioritize initiatives for the Data Office.

Our Impact

RGP helped the bank streamline data management processes, develop a prioritized improvement roadmap using the DCAM framework, and establish ongoing maturity assessments with KPIs.
