The Challenge

To enhance data management capabilities and address regulatory data quality concerns, the Client’s leadership sought guidance on improving data and analytics management across functions. RGP conducted a current state assessment of the bank’s data assets, evaluating capabilities, processes, and ownership structures. The team identified pain points, determined target state data domains, and developed an integrated roadmap to mature data capabilities. Additionally, RGP facilitated a tool and vendor selection process to choose an enterprise standard data management tool for sustainable data management practices.

02.

The Solution

RGP deployed a team of data management and architecture experts to assess the bank’s data assets. Through stakeholder interviews, the team identified key data challenges and documented Systems of Record information, while developing architecture and data flows. Using its Strategic Data Capability Assessment Framework, RGP defined the target state data capabilities, mapped pain points on a capability heatmap, and prioritized recommendations aligned with the bank’s strategic priorities. The team also led a tool and vendor selection process for four data management tools, tailoring its Multi-factor Product Scoring Framework to the bank’s needs.

Our Impact

RGP developed a multi-year data roadmap, identified dependencies, and enabled a data-driven culture, guiding tool selection and rollout for the bank’s transformation.
