The Challenge
Our client, a multi-billion-dollar global insurance and financial services organization, launched a multi-year Finance Transformation program as part of a broader enterprise-wide savings initiative. The program aims to improve data quality, leverage automation, robotics, and AI, standardize processes, strengthen end-to-end controls, and foster greater collaboration across global teams. To support these goals and enable a more efficient and effective operating model, RGP has provided subject matter experts with deep functional expertise.

The Solution
As part of a large-scale finance transformation, the client launched two new regional Centers of Excellence (Asia and EMEA), expanded their shared services center, and implemented new management reporting technologies and processes. This included standardizing data hierarchies, automating reconciliations, enhancing process controls, and streamlining documentation.
RGP, in partnership with a Big Four firm and a global consultancy, played a central role in supporting the transformation. Our eight-member team provided program and project management, change communications, and change management expertise. We helped establish and evolve the Program Management Office (PMO), coordinating resources and activities across multiple projects. RGP also developed project plans, managed execution, and delivered a communication strategy to support leadership and team engagement. In collaboration with the client’s change team, we conducted stakeholder and impact assessments, co-developed a leadership development program, and administered pulse surveys to guide continuous improvement.

Our Impact
The client is achieving key milestones across workstreams, including new reporting tools, data hierarchy rationalization, and automation. RGP’s integrated project and change management support continues to deliver value as the program matures.
