About This Role

We are looking for a strong Project Manager with Medicaid Regulatory experience to drive short and long-term projects with large healthcare company.
  • 6-12 month Project
  • FULLY REMOTE
  • Rate: $70-80/hour with Benefits

What You Will Work On

Responsible for driving discrete bodies of work with health plan operations, health care services, and data analytics. 
  • Create, manage, and execute project plans
  • Identifying, tracking and resolving issues / risks.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Identifying program and project issues and risks, developing mitigation strategies, and communication strategies for issue resolution.
  • Compiling and communicating weekly status reports, updates, and meetings.
  • Create deliverables and refining content based on stakeholder input.
  • Identifying and communicating process improvements as applicable

What You Will Bring

Must-haves: 
  • Project/Program Manager: Capable of independently running multiple workstreams with Program Manager oversight. Needs to be able to "flex up" and manage day-to-day standard project management principles. Experience w/ operational workflow/process projects. Strong "political" acumen. 
  • Medicaid experience: Client needs to respond to regulatory changes, and need a PM to drive the work. They don't need to be a "SME" but need to understand how Medicaid is different than other types of health plans. 
  • Consultants need to have strong client-facing skills, team players, ability to jump in and drive work without a lot of oversight. Need strong stakeholder management and experience. 
SAMPLE Projects: 
  • Supporting operational workflows 
  • Managing eligibility of Medicaid Members 
  • Improving data intake and governance across teams  [political, people management]
