About This Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager with deep SDLC expertise to lead a major platform modernization effort—a multi‑year transformation focused on transitioning to a new vendor‑supported platform.

This requires 5 days onsite in Omaha, Austin or Phoenix.

What you will work on

  • Partner closely with product managers to align technical delivery with business goals and priorities
  • Participate in and help lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring clear definition and prioritization of work
  • Gather, clarify, and document functional and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Coordinate development activities across cross‑functional teams, ensuring work progresses according to plan
  • Oversee testing efforts, validate deliverables, and ensure each sprint meets quality and acceptance criteria
  • Identify and remove project blockers, escalate risks, and maintain clear communication across teams
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with established standards and best practices
  • Mutual Fund industry experience is mandatory

What you will bring

  • Proven track record delivering full SDLC projects across large‑scale, complex, multi‑year initiatives
  • Strong experience working with modern platforms, API development and integration, and back‑office / IT operations
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira (required) for backlog management, sprint planning, and workflow oversight
  • Experience with Rally is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a SCRUM team of approximately 10 offshore engineers (India), ensuring alignment, clarity, and consistent delivery
