About This Role

Are you an expert Instructional Designer who loves turning complex policies and data frameworks into engaging, digestible learning experiences?

We are seeking a Finance Data Governance (FDG) Instructional Designer to build a brand-new, enterprise-wide "FDG 101" curriculum for a global financial brand in NYC. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), organize dense internal governance policies, and create a 60-minute master class paired with short, high-impact micro-learning assets (5-minute video soundbites, job aids, and SOPs).

What You Will Work On

  • Develop end-to-end training materials, presentations, job aids, and SOPs tailored to diverse corporate audiences.
  • Create bite-sized, high-engagement content (e.g., 5-minute video clips on concepts like "What is a Critical Data Element?").
  • Deliver both instructor-led and virtual training sessions utilizing adult learning principles to maximize knowledge retention.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and translate dense financial policies into clear procedures.
  • Track training effectiveness through learner feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven track record in Instructional Design, Content Development, or Training Management (Financial Services or Data Governance background is a huge plus).
  • Expertise with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, LMS platforms).
  • Delivery: Ability to design across online platforms, short videos, email bulletins, and executive slide decks.
  • Must be local to NYC and comfortable with a 3-day onsite hybrid schedule.
