About This Role
Selected candidates will support the Record-to-Report (R2R) function by performing accurate and timely account reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of financial data, strengthening internal controls, and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance the efficiency of the financial close process.
What You Will Work On
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Perform timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliations using BlackLine, SAP, and supporting subledger systems.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare, review, and maintain reconciliation documentation in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
- Analyze subledger data and general ledger balances to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to account reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.
- Assist with process documentation, standardization, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support automation initiatives, including BlackLine automation and other continuous improvement projects.
What You Will Bring
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Experience performing account reconciliations in a corporate accounting or shared services environment.
- Strong proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and BlackLine.
- Experience analyzing subledger and general ledger data.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred.
- Experience with BlackLine automation is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
