The Challenge
In the midst of a significant technology integration, the Client recognized the need to rationalize its application portfolio within the corporate and infrastructure space, including planning target operating models for application migrations and detailing data archival solutions for decommissioning applications. RGP supported the Client in defining a repeatable integration strategy that combined legacy processes from both firms, while also driving the solution’s implementation across the division in a program management capacity. RGP ensured consistent alignment between business and technology, helping the Client meet annual integration targets aligned with corporate priorities, allowing subject matter experts to focus on key business priorities alongside ongoing integration efforts.

RGP deployed a focused team with expertise in merger integration, technology transformation, and financial services to establish a central program for managing the Corporate Technology application portfolio and associated planning efforts. The team created a tailored, end-to-end decommissioning approach, establishing reporting and governance to guide application integration for the Corporate Technology team. They developed a factory-style workflow to improve decommissioning throughput and a reporting scorecard for centralized progress transparency. RGP also provided strong program management and delivery support, identifying dependencies and managing integration activities across key workstreams.
