The Challenge

Following a merger with a regional bank and wealth manager, the Client faced increasing reporting demands and heightened regulatory requests post-deal close. To manage the surge in demands and plan for technology integration, the Client sought support from RGP in driving activities within the core data workstream and providing project management services for the Technology Integration Program. RGP’s tactical and strategic support helped the client meet business objectives on schedule and within budget throughout the integration period.

What We Did

RGP deployed a strategic consultant within the Data Management Office to establish a project management process for post-deal reporting and regulatory requests. This process captured deliverable status, ownership, and data dependencies, ensuring accountability and supporting governance. RGP consolidated 100+ data report deliverables across nine sub-functions, facilitated communication between credit risk and data engineering teams, and implemented a Data Extract Request document to align business and technical requirements. They managed data analysts and developers through execution, maintained project plans, and provided actionable status updates to key finance stakeholders.
