The Challenge
The client sought support in modeling, refactoring, and re-architecting their daily batch process cycles to optimize automation, improve execution times, and identify high-risk or inefficient workflows. The initiative started with analyzing and reconciling all automated processes into a master inventory, capturing runtime data, sequencing, and dependencies to highlight inefficiencies. The RGP team conducted a data exploration exercise to uncover operational issues, using data analysis and visualization techniques, along with custom tools, to identify areas for further investigation and potential workarounds.

What We Did
RGP deployed a team of experts to analyze the organization’s current automated processing cycles and identify opportunities for optimization and re-architecture. The team gathered runtime data, developed SQL scripts, and created visualization tools to uncover inefficient processes, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks. Based on the data analysis, they proposed optimizations, including modifications to process sequencing, data flow, code refactoring, hardware configurations, and system versioning, to streamline operations and improve orchestration.
