The Challenge

The Client’s Senior Leadership engaged RGP to analyze and improve the process for identifying, addressing, and resolving data issues. The RGP team conducted a retrospective to assess current challenges and inefficiencies, facilitating workshops across impacted areas to prioritize and resolve outstanding data issues. Based on the findings, RGP developed an improved process flow for issue identification and resolution, revised the committee structure, and created a refined communications plan to enhance efficiency and outcomes in managing data issues.

The Solution

RGP deployed a team of consultants skilled in data issue resolution, operational efficiency, and organizational strategy to improve the client’s process for managing critical data issues. The team conducted an analysis to identify inefficiencies in the current model and reviewed over 200 open data issues. RGP introduced a new operational team structure to address issues more effectively based on severity and effort, and proposed an updated meeting structure to reduce redundancies and improve stakeholder attendance. They also designed an improved process flow and communication plan to streamline issue resolution and keep all relevant parties informed.
