The Challenge

The Client engaged RGP to enhance its Data Architecture capabilities and align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. RGP reviewed the existing organizational structure and interaction model of the Data Architecture function and designed a target operating model aligned with the Client’s broader data governance and enterprise architecture reorganization. RGP assessed the current capabilities of the team, identified gaps and inefficiencies, and developed a business case for transformation. A targeted roadmap and key artifacts were created to guide the Client in implementing the new operating model.

02.

The Solution

RGP deployed Data Architecture SMEs and strategy consultants to assess the Client’s current Data Architecture function and propose recommendations for improvement. Through stakeholder interviews and analysis of existing processes and policies, RGP evaluated the maturity of the Client’s Data Architecture practices against industry standards. Partnering with Client leadership, RGP understood the future state vision and developed plans to address gaps between the current and target states. RGP also designed the organizational structure for the Data Architecture function, defining its mission, scope, reporting lines, roles, and responsibilities.
