Merissa’s Story

This is one of many stories from across RGP, stories that show what it really means to Dare to Work Differently®.

Not as a concept. But in practice. In real life.

Right now, Merissa Madani isn’t at home.

Home is Dubai. But as conflict unfolds in the region, she’s temporarily relocated, watching, waiting, and navigating a situation that can shift overnight.

And still, she shows up.

From wherever she is, Merissa logs into meetings, advises clients, and leads work across continents. Her clients experience consistency, clarity, and momentum. What they don’t see is the complexity behind the scenes, the relocation, the uncertainty, the constant recalibration.

That’s by design.

“I don’t just solve problems,” Merissa says. “I remove friction so completely that my clients never feel it.”

Her work spans borders, time zones, and cultures. On any given day, she’s connecting teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia—aligning priorities, translating needs, and ensuring progress never stalls.

She operates at the intersection of business and technology. Between the global headquarters and the regional teams. Between cultures that work in fundamentally different ways.

That’s where she thrives.

“What I bring is the art of seamless translation. I understand how work actually flows—across systems, across people, across geographies.”

That ability comes from a career built across disciplines and around the world.

Merissa has worked as an engineer, plant manager, financial controller, and marketing leader, gaining visibility into every layer of how organizations function. At one point, she led more than 200 people across Russia, India, Spain, and South Africa.

She knows how work gets done, because she’s done it.

That same adaptability shapes her life outside of work.

As a mother, Merissa has navigated constant change. Her son grew up moving between countries, cultures, and schools, experiencing both the challenge and the opportunity of being what she calls a “third culture kid.”

Those early transitions weren’t always easy. But over time, they built something lasting.

Today, he’s studying in Scotland; confident, adaptable, and able to form connections anywhere.

“The minute you can relate to someone, you’re already three steps ahead,” she says. “He has that now.”

For Merissa, flexibility isn’t a policy. It’s how she works. And how she lives.

Even as the world around her shifts, one thing remains constant: her ability to show up seamlessly, for her clients and her family.

That’s what it means to Dare to Work Differently.
