About This Role

RGP is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our growing Enterprise Applications IT team. This leadership role is responsible for the overarching technical vision, architecture, and successful delivery of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it aligns with RGP’s global business objectives.

As a senior leader within the Enterprise Applications Team, you will drive the architectural roadmap for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce. You will serve as a key partner to Revenue, Marketing, and other business stakeholders, translating complex business needs into scalable, high-performance technical solutions. We are looking for a hands-on technical visionary who can mentor internal teams
and manage external vendors to ensure the highest standards of development and configuration.

Base Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000.
Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation.

What you will work on

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the architectural design and ongoing development of RGP’s global Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability and integration with core systems.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a primary liaison and strategic partner to Revenue, Marketing, and other key business leaders to identify, develop, and deploy transformative business processes.
  • Architect and oversee the implementation of complex solutions within the Sales Cloud that promote simple and efficient user experiences.
  • Highly proficient in integrating Sales Cloud with external sales-supporting processes, tools, and relational database applications common in the professional services sector.
  • Demonstrate superior skills in Business Case Development, Value Architecture & Realization, and Business Design.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders with business objectives.
  • Hands-on development, testing and deployment of new solutions; maintenance and troubleshooting of existing solutions.
  • Lead with expert knowledge in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Data Cloud.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a proven track record as a Salesforce Architect for the Sales Cloud in a professional services environment.
  • Expert-level mastery of Salesforce Lightning Sales Cloud Unlimited, including the architecture and development of complex custom objects to support unique business processes.
  • Deeply proficient in Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) and Salesforce Inbox to automate activity logging and enhance email/calendar integration.
  • Extensive experience leveraging and configuring complex Managed Packages from the AppExchange to solve business problems, with a focus on mitigating package-related performance issues and technical debt.
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology and using Jira or other Agile Project Management Tools.
  • Strong knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Force.com, SQL, SOQL, JSON, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL, SOQL, EXCEL, JSON, ETL, and Salesforce release processes.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce release processes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies using tools like Gearset to ensure seamless deployment of sales enhancements Ability to create strong documentation and workflow diagrams.
  • Experience with product design, integrated testing, migrations and implementation/release processes. Strong problemsolving skills.
