About This Role

RGP is seeking a Senior BI / Reporting Specialist to support a targeted initiative focused on improving tax‑ready reporting within Oracle Fixed Assets. This short‑term engagement requires a consultant who can quickly understand existing data structures, build reliable reporting views, and streamline key deliverables used by tax, finance, and audit teams. The ideal resource brings hands‑on experience with Oracle FA reporting and can create automated outputs that reduce or eliminate reliance on Excel.

This is a W2, hourly consulting role with no C2C arrangements permitted. Candidates advancing past the client interview will be subject to a standard background check prior to engagement.

What you will work on

  • Build a comprehensive tax depreciation roll‑forward report within Oracle.
  • Develop bonus vs. non‑bonus depreciation breakouts that align with tax requirements.
  • Create reporting for asset disposals and disposal impact analysis.
  • Design book‑to‑tax reconciliation views to support downstream reporting and review.
  • Deliver structured outputs that remove manual Excel work and operate directly within the Oracle reporting framework.

What you will bring

  • Strong background in OTBI advanced configuration for Oracle Cloud.
  • Proficiency in BI Publisher report and template development.
  • Solid understanding of SQL concepts and familiarity with Oracle FA tables.
  • Experience producing tax‑aligned reporting formats and structured depreciation views.
  • Ability to design roll‑forward logic and apply it to large‑scale fixed asset datasets.
  • A detail‑oriented, solution‑focused approach with the ability to deliver quickly in a short‑term consulting engagement.
