About This Role

Our client is looking for a candidate who will manage inventory health, support forecast development, and the monthly S&OP cycle. This person will monitor demand signals, analyze data, and help translate analysis into actionable supply recommendations. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Production. This role is ideal for a curious, data-driven planners who want mentorship and exposure across the end-to-end planning process.

Duration: 4 months 
Rate: $45 - $50/hr. W2

What You Will Work On

      • Forecasting and analytics:

        • Monitor forecast accuracy: perform root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
        • Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, MOQs)
        • Maintain forecasting template: Ensure new SKUs and price list are updated on time, and data is accurate.

      • S&OP support: 

        • Provide inventory purchase recommendations based on sales forecast
        • Prepare callouts for cross-functional discussion and alignment (forecast changes, assumptions, risks, and opportunities)
        • Track monthly sales performance against budget.
        • Maintain horizontal plan to review inventory need for IBP activities, promotions, launches, and product transitions.

      • Inventory and service:

        • Track inventory health: Months on supply (On Hand, In Transit, On Order), in-stock rate, excess & obsolete, and COGS trend.
        • Identify excess and out-of-stock risks and recommend de-risking actions (sunset recommendations and re-prioritizing orders)

      What You Will Bring

      • 1–3 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or business analytics.
      • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, basic modeling) and exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
      • Comfortable with data cleaning and interpreting trends and basic statistics familiarity.
      • Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
      • Available to start the day early as needed. This role has frequent meetings with EU and NY teams.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
