About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex network-based physical security system projects throughout their full lifecycle. This role partners closely with a matrix team of software engineers, hardware engineers, system integration engineers, and cybersecurity experts to deliver mission-critical solutions effectively and efficiently.

Work Location: 3 days on-site in Great Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area

Duration: Contract to Hire (initial 6 months interim/contract consulting)

Pay Rate Range: $65/hr-$75/hr interim for the initial 6 months; $140K-$150K salary for conversion/perm

What You Will Work On

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery for complex, multi-million-dollar security system projects. 
  • Serve as primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on deliverables, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Develop project plans using tools such as MS Project and JIRA; track tasks, milestones, and deadlines. 
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings; prepare agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries. 
  • Oversee resource allocation, budgets, and financial performance, including subcontractor management. 
  • Handle change orders and new business proposals while driving additional scope for revenue growth. 
  • Partner with internal teams on contract terms and pricing strategies. 
  • Participate in the design and delivery of large-scale implementations. 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse contract types (including Fixed Price and T&M).
  • Occasional domestic travel to support site meetings.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. 
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required for restricted access facilities and potential security clearance). 
  • 4–7 years of project/program management experience, preferably with technical system projects. 
  • Strong working knowledge of PMI methodologies and standard project management processes. 
  • Proven experience in managing projects with diverse internal/external stakeholders, including subcontractors.
  • Hands-on experience with projects involving networking equipment, access control systems, cameras, and command-and-control platforms. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage software and/or hardware-based technologies. 
  • Skilled at working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal supervision. 
  • PMP certification, preferred.
  • SCADA or engineering environment exposure; familiarity with cyber security concepts, preferred.
