About This Role
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Solutions Architect to support a strategic SAP Integrated Business Planning expansion initiative. This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2025, with potential for extension based on performance.
This role sits at the intersection of solution architecture, technical delivery, and program coordination, requiring a professional who can define scalable technical solutions while also driving execution across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning architectural decisions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring technical initiatives progress efficiently in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
What you will work on
As a Solutions Architect , you will be responsible for leading the technical architecture and supporting delivery efforts for an IBP expansion program, with a strong focus on integrating non-SAP solutions into the broader enterprise ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and own technical and architectural decisions for the program, ensuring solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and technical teams to design end-to-end solution architectures using Agile and MVP-driven approaches.
- Support the expansion of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) by enabling seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP technologies.
- Guide Agile delivery teams on coding standards, software engineering best practices, continuous integration (CI), and automated deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain an infrastructure and environments strategy, aligned with evolving architectural requirements.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to map processes, align requirements, and ensure technical solutions meet operational needs.
- Drive project coordination and stakeholder follow-up, proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and keeping multiple workstreams on track.
- Partner with the Product Owner to align the technical roadmap with platform capabilities and future opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of reusable, scalable technical components alongside enterprise and product leadership.
- Mentor junior technical team members, promoting code quality, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring
The ideal candidate combines technical architecture expertise with strong project management capabilities, bringing a practical, execution-oriented mindset to complex enterprise programs.
Required qualifications and experience:
- 2–3+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or comparable technical leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong experience integrating non-SAP solutions within complex technical ecosystems.
- Proven Project Management experience, including stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.
- Experience with process mapping and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, software design patterns, DevSecOps principles, and engineering best practices.
- Experience coaching or mentoring technical teams, with a focus on code quality and technical standards.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a distributed/global team environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
- Self-driven professional with the ability to work independently, challenge inefficiencies, and proactively solve technical and delivery-related issues.
