The Challenge

RGP supported the Client in implementing an advanced loan accounting platform by leading a report remediation project to ensure critical reports remained functional post-migration. RGP modified report attributes, aligned data sources with the new system, and ensured compliance with updated data structures. The team worked to maintain operational continuity and data integrity for end-users by thoroughly revising and testing reports for completeness and accuracy. RGP’s efforts ensured all necessary reports were fully functional and ready in time for the system’s go-live.

02.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of business intelligence and reporting experts to assess reporting impacts in the future state system and identify sensitive data elements. The team remediated reports by modifying SQL logic to align with data transformation requirements and conducted thorough testing by comparing old and new report outputs. To enhance accuracy, RGP developed a Python script to systematically detect discrepancies between versions. Additionally, the team refined report formatting, validated completeness and accuracy, and deployed reports to the development environment for user acceptance testing.

Our Impact

RGP updated 650 legacy reports, ensuring accurate data retrieval post-transition, meeting regulatory deadlines, and proactively addressing data quality issues to safeguard integrity and respond to customer feedback.
