The Challenge

The Client aimed to enhance release and change management (RCM) processes by developing data-driven insights to reduce risk during large-scale software releases. They sought a dynamic platform to socialize key metrics with executive leadership, provide observability into reporting capabilities, and improve application risk insights. RGP was engaged to provide advisory, industry best practices, and expertise in data analysis, gap analysis, and data visualization tools. RGP successfully delivered three advanced change management dashboards with real-time reporting, improving data quality, enabling self-service capabilities, and streamlining operations for strategic decisions.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of strategic advisors and data analysts to redesign the release change management dashboard, focusing on integrating diverse datasets, identifying key metrics, and creating interactive visualizations. The team worked closely with senior stakeholders, including IT managers, release managers, and developers, to understand the current landscape and data architecture across 15 systems. They identified data quality issues and analyzed existing processes, policies, and governance. RGP recommended strategic initiatives and operational enhancements, providing a roadmap to optimize release and change management functions.
