The Challenge

The Client, undergoing a large-scale digital transformation of core lending systems, sought support in mapping lending capabilities to current and future systems to aid change management and transformation readiness. RGP worked with the Client to develop and validate a framework that mapped all lending capabilities to current state systems. This framework was then linked to future state systems after each major system release, helping to demonstrate the transformation’s progression. The framework provided insights into the magnitude of change with each release, informing process and procedure updates.

02.

What We Did

RGP deployed a team of strategic consultants with lending expertise and digital transformation experience to assess the Bank’s current and future state lending systems. The team gathered documentation and met with stakeholders to understand the processes and systems in place. Using this information, they developed a comprehensive list of lending capabilities at five levels of granularity and created a capability framework mapping current state systems to these capabilities. The future state systems were also mapped at each major release point. Executive-level presentations were developed to highlight transformation efforts and impacted capabilities at each release.

Our Impact

RGP provided a standardized list of lending capabilities, mapped current and future systems, and visualized transformation impacts for executive decision-making.
