With total capital, net interest margin, and return on assets all significantly decreasing, the bank required a comprehensive overhaul of its risk management framework, governance protocols, and oversight of liquidity, capital, interest rate, market, strategic, reputational, and operational risks.

The Solution
RGP transformed the Client’s Strategic Plan from an eight-page document into a comprehensive 120-page roadmap for stable growth, incorporating market analysis, competitor research, and operational requirements. RGP also redefined risk governance by establishing a new Risk Appetite framework with early warning indicators, rewriting 35+ policies, updating Board charters, and implementing a risk taxonomy. Additionally, RGP conducted a formal leadership assessment with the Board Chairman to evaluate executive strengths and optimize Board composition.
