The Challenge

A $15 Billion Fortune 500 International Retailer requested RGP guide them through the Blackline implementation process to automate their cash application matching process.

Transaction matching, a key control for retail companies, can often be labor-intensive. RGP partnered with the client sponsor to implement the BlackLine Transaction Matching product, streamlining and automating this process.

What We Did

Leveraging our BlackLine expertise, RGP developed a project plan based on industry best practices, outlining a detailed timeline for implementation. We facilitated the import and validation of data into the BlackLine system and designed matching logic to automate the process in alignment with the client’s procedures and tolerances. Additionally, we supported user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and provided training and ongoing support to end-users on system configuration and administration.

Our Impact

RGP reduced the month-end process by 160 hours and enabled automation that saved an additional 280 hours per month.
