A global $3 billion food manufacturer and exporter

As the CIO’s strategic IT partner, we led the recovery of an at-risk SAP re-implementation by sourcing the right talent and redistributing the project workload for a successful system review, redesign and rollout.

A global $3 billion food manufacturer and exporter needed to redesign and re-implement SAP. After sinking $100 million into a previous effort that was ultimately unsuccessful, the company called in expert PMO support to guide the system relaunch.

What We Did

  • Mobilized a team of subject matter experts, including a program manager, project manager, supply chain manager and quality assurance manager.
  • Collaborated with the CIO to recover various projects related to the implementation while maintaining the organization’s $80 million project budget.

  • Completed the system review and redesign and achieved project recovery.
  • Delivered effective redesign of the customized Shop Floor solution and Wonderware, the client’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Drove successful SAP re-implementation and rollout.
