RGP provided Integration Management Office (IMO) leadership for our Client’s acquisition. By understanding not only our Client’s M&A goals, but also their culture and people, we developed a customized IMO solution set providing repeatable methodologies, tools and templates for their future transaction success.
Our global industrial and municipal Client became increasingly active in acquisitions, requiring a more robust operating mechanism and tools to address increasing transaction complexities.
What We Did
- Partnered with the Corporate Development team, analyzinggaps between existing integration processes and tools.
- Developed a future-ready solution that offered a clear line of sight into our Client’s critical Day 1 and post-Day 1 acquisition activities.
- Collaborated with functional teams to create an operating mechanism in the form of an Integration Management Office (IMO) Playbook.
- Provided trusted leadership needs to the newly formed IMO team to power our Client’s success on future integration activities.
Impact
- Customized a master Integration Plan and IMO Playbook that delivers dynamic status reports across all corporate functions, increasing our Client’s confidence in their tracking analysis.
- Established executive visibility with a new governance framework around risk, issues, dependencies and decisions for key stakeholders.
- Designed and hosted a custom “Walk the Walls” event focused on our Clients’ transaction goals and objectives which captured milestone cross-functional dependencies.
- Created Executive Dashboards and Steering Committee tools and templates to better capture deal value.
