Our client’s finance team was embarking on the separation of multiple non-strategic business units and engaged our experienced consultants to support finance separation planning and execution.

We supported our client in managing and executing the divestiture of five business units, enabling successful separations and seamless transitions.

What We Did

  • Engaged 21 consultants to provide finance and accounting (F&A) separation planning, Day 1 readiness and plan execution.
  • Developed and helped negotiate terms and costing for five Transition Services Agreements and supported execution.
  • Prepared for seller due diligence, including data room setup and contract review.
  • Helped set up back office operations in Manila to support ongoing corporate F&A needs.

Impact

  • Enabled our client to successfully conduct the F&A separation management process.
  • Enabled seamless business transitions through identification of required transition service needs.
  • Supported creation of an F&A organization for our client, who did not yet have a fully mature department.
