Tell us a little bit about your career journey before joining RGP.
Prior to joining RGP, I was a partner at Unisys Corporation where I led the Enterprise Transformation Consulting Practice for the Northeast Region. Before that, I was a global managing partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where I led several industry and practice areas. During my 20-year tenure at Arthur Andersen, I served clients across diverse industry sectors, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, advertising and hospitality.

I have a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. I am also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Goals and Inspirations

What inspires you?
I’ve always been intrigued by the “secret sauce” that enables companies to outperform peers. It’s often the intangible aspects of leadership and culture that drives greatness. RGP is sensitive to these human aspects of successful change and strives to address these issues by working collaboratively with clients to develop solutions that improve business performance by allowing people to leverage technology in a smart manner.

What is a goal you have your eyes set on?
My primary goal is growing RGP Asia Pac into a premier consulting firm that is known for its human-oriented approach to change. Asia Pac is a diverse and dynamic region that is influencing global business trends. All global companies need to have a clear strategy for success in Asia Pac.

What does success in your role look like?
Success for me is building a cohesive Asia Pac Team that creates and nurtures a working environment that produces loyal clients by consistently delivering value and results.

A Day in the Life

What was your best day at work at RGP?
Every day that allows us to work with clients to improve their businesses is a wonderful day. Helping clients view and understand their business problems from new perspectives creates tremendous value. Our human-first style and pragmatic results-oriented approach drives value for our clients by accelerating change and adoption of new business practices.

What accomplishment makes you most proud since joining RGP?
I am most proud of working with clients to deliver tangible benefits that help them meet their business objectives. While I have many examples of helping clients succeed – one does stand out. One of our large banking clients needed rapid assistance to respond to a regulatory consent order related to their mortgage practices. RGP worked collaboratively with the client to develop a practical approach to effectively review and respond to regulatory requests and requirements over a multi-year period. RGP worked closely with the client during this period to ensure that technical requirements were satisfied while our human-first approach ensured results were achieved in a cost-effective manner that was sensitive to the client’s business objectives. We forged a strong partnership with this client that’s ongoing almost 10 years later.

Share your favorite client success story.
A good client success story is a program that we led for one of our large global medical device clients. The client had launched a large data cleansing and management program in support of certain regulatory requirements. The program had gotten off to a poor start and after six months the client had made little progress. The client initially was unsure of how to get the program back on track, so they contact RGP. We identified a broad set of recommendations that included program management improvements, a more centralized program structure, a formal standard global data cleansing approach, global data standards, formal escalation protocols and improved key-performance-indicators. After a short pilot, the client asked us to take over the entire program, which we completed in 18 months – ahead of schedule and under-budget. RGP was named Vendor of the Year by this client because of our work.

A human-first approach means that RGP enables change by working collaboratively with our clients to leverage technical solutions that help clients embrace and accelerate the change process. Our human-first approach results in practical cost-effective results – a better, faster and more affordable outcome.

I live the RGP values by placing my client’s needs first. This allows me to drive the right behavior for our clients and RGP. Helping our clients succeed requires all of us to exhibit the characteristics of “LIFE AT” RGP. RGP combines the best technical solution capabilities with a collaborative delivery approach that ensures lasting quality results.

YOU beyond RGP

How do you spend your time outside of work?
I enjoy listening to music, reading and staying active. I love to cook and appreciate fine wines.

Strategic, persistent, inquisitive

Do you have any skills or secret talents that most people don’t know about?
I have excellent PowerPoint skills and I am a pretty good copy editor.
